Learn How to Use the Travel Planner Spreadsheet
Downloading the free Planner Spreadsheet file to your computer is simple. All you need to do is click the link at the bottom of this page.
You can begin by changing the image to one you own. You can simply right-click on the image and select “Change Picture” to choose a photo from your own collection on your computer.
You can also change the title of your planner to fit your trip or destination. Have fun with it. Below the title is a few key pieces of information that are helpful when planning the rest of the trip, such as booking tickets and ordering hotel rooms.
You will enter the number and names of each traveler, the start and end of date of your trip, and the destination name.
After that, the Planner Spreadsheet functions as a simple calendar. You will refer to the dates in the first column of this section. When you want to know what you need to do for the day, just look up the current date. The boxes to the right of your dates follow the natural order of a trip. The beginning date gives you your flight information and as you scroll down through the day, you can see more items.
Feel free to change any for the categories on the list by clicking a cell and writing something new in the box. Simply go through these items and fill up your schedule exactly how you want it. Make time for tourist spots, business meetings, and fine dining.
When you reach the last date of your trip, you can enter the appropriate travel information for your flight back home as well.
