Christmas Recipe Card Template

One of the best parts of the holiday season is all of the delicious food that is reserved for winter. Candy canes, pumpkin spice lattes, and gingerbread houses are all festive treats for the cold weather. The Christmas Recipe Card Template is an easy way to organize your recipes and share them with friends.  With this, you can type up your recipes and store them on your computer or print them out.

How to use the Christmas Recipe Card Template

The template opens up into Word and is decorated with Christmas themed pictures to help you get in the holiday spirit. The lines, fonts, and colors have all been neatly placed in the template so you can easily enter information and not worry about formatting. Start by removing the placeholder text below the first image and populating it with a recipe summary, a note, or a holiday quote. Fill in the [Year], [Recipe Author], and finally the name of the recipe.

Next is a page and a half available for you to enter your recipe information. Put one ingredient or instruction per line then press the down arrow key to move to the next line. Skip lines if you prefer more spread out text. You can also use the bottom portion for notes on the recipe, such as “add sugar coating after 10 minutes baking” and “uses roughly 15 gumdrops”.

Tips on using the Christmas Recipe Card Template

  • If you are giving holiday treats to someone, attach the recipe with it using this template. Then they have not only something delicious, but a fun new recipe to try.
  • Print the finished card out or have your computer nearby when baking so you can easily edit and update the recipe if it’s the first time you’re baking it.
  • Collect all of your printed recipe cards in a binder, and add category tags to organize by year or type of recipe. Each year you can retrieve the binder and easily access your old recipes. This is much easier than searching online for the recipe.
