How to Change Color of Any Object In Photoshop
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Have you ever found the perfect image but wanted to change the color to something else? This simple tutorial will show you how to accomplish that in Adobe Photoshop.

Open the image in your Photoshop program. We have chosen this lovely flower to show you all the steps.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11130″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We just want to change the color of this pink flower but not anything in the background.

Now, you can select the Rectangular Marquee Tool & make a selection around the flower. You can also go ahead and use other selection tools like one of the lasso tools.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”11131″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”11132″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Go to Adjustment Layer & select Hue/Saturation…[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”11133″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”11134″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You’ll notice that when changing the hue, everything within the selection area changes color. We would like only the flower to change, so go ahead and change from Master to Red. You may have to select another color based on the picture you’ve chosen.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11135″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With this it will pretty much change the flower only as it is close in color tone. But this does not change all regions as the flower has different shades. Go to Eyedropper Tool, click on one of the color of the flower (your object), then select the Add to color tool and start clicking on the image the tone and areas you’d like to change.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11136″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After the adjustment, the Hue slider has been dragged almost all the way to the left. Even the color slider at the bottom has shifted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”11137″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”11138″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Now there are some areas where we would like to mask off i.e. not apply color. Make sure that the foreground color is Black to remove from mask and white as the foreground to add to the mask. And select the brush tool. Also make sure to select the layer mask.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11139″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11140″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11141″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The final image:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11142″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
