Features and Uses of the October 2017 Calendar
This October 2017 calendar is a simple yet essential tool for organizing and planning your month. You can simply click on any space and begin to type in order to enter your own personalized information. Choose between Sunday first and Monday first week arrangements. Change the color of any cell. Color-coding can help you to easily distinguish holidays, Sundays, work days, off days, birthdays, etc. Go back later and add more or change what you’ve added with ease. Zoom in to see your days and weeks up close and zoom back out again to view the month as a whole. Extra notes can be placed in the bottom margin.
With a busy schedule, planning and organizing is not an option – it is an imperative. If you are doing more than you can constantly remember, then you can let the calendar “do the remembering for you.” Just remember to look at it! Reduce stress by knowing what your “default plan” is for the month. You can always adjust it later if needed. Enter financial information such as expenditures, bill due dates, etc. Small businesses can use it for payroll information. Remind yourself of project deadlines and weddings, funerals, graduations, and other special occasions. You can compare your family and work time and strive for balance.
Special Days and Observances on the October 2017 Calendar
October 2017’s 31 days begin with a Sunday and end with a Tuesday. There will be five Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, but four of each other day. You can enter holidays such as Columbus Day on the 9th. The 9th is also celebrated by some as Leif Erickson Day instead, however (historians will want to mark that on their calendars). South Dakotans will note the 9th as Native Americans’ Day. Halloween is on the 31st of course, so be prepared with candy.
